Some businesses will not fill my tank. What should I do? 

Propane fillers are an eclectic bunch of businesses. Some will refuse to fill small tanks, either because they are not comfortable doing it, or because they have a minimum fill amount that is larger than the capacity of the tank. While we encourage you to support local businesses, we have found that larger businesses like UHaul, Cenex, and even Costco know and understand the rules and are the most likely to be able to fill your tank consistently. If you tell them the tank holds 1.2 gallons, they should be able to help you. If the shop you are talking to won't help, find one who can. If you do find smaller, locally owned businesses who will fill your tank consistently, please do support them, and even share with us so we can give them some love!
