My refillable lighter is not lighting; how do I fix it?

In general we've found that these lighters fire up pretty quickly and easily. However, occasionally one can be a little stubborn.

In most cases, we have found that the lighter will ignite if you just give it several clicks in a row. It may take 30 or so clicks, but it should light, and once it does so, subsequent ignitions should be quick and easy.

It may also help to adjust the regulator. This is controlled by the small fold-out tab on the end of the lighter's handle. Pop the handle out with your fingernail and turn it counterclockwise to the maximum flame setting.
